Infrastructure
AS A SERVICE
Mobility
In April 2024, NASA selected Intuitive Machines for the agency’s Lunar Terrain Vehicle Services Feasibility Assessment. Building on the company’s success delivering payloads to the Moon’s surface, the Intuitive Machines-led Moon RACER team got to work creating a roadmap for a state-of-the-art LTV built to handle extreme conditions at the Moon’s South Pole and transportable by the company’s Nova-D heavy-cargo class lunar lander.
Prospecting
Intuitive Machines is developing the infrastructure services to support lunar prospecting, focusing on autonomous surface mobility, lunar data relay enhanced observation, and is currently responsible for the operations and data analysis for NASA's Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter and ShadowCam cameras.
Lunar Logistics
We're advancing our capabilities to offer lunar logistics as a service, aiming for efficient, safe, and sustainable transport and resource management on the lunar surface.
Surface Power
The Department of Energy and NASA awarded IX, a joint venture between Intuitive Machines and X-energy, a contract to conduct a one-year study to mature the design of a Fission Surface Power (FSP) solution that will deliver at least 40 kWe power flight system to the Moon by 2028.
