It’s always great when one of our IM team members gets recognized for the great work they are doing for our customers. Joseph Williams did an outstanding job of leading and providing new payload and ICU R4 software functionality that integrates a high data rate (Ku-band) communication link between the ground and the International Space Station (ISS). The delivery of these ISS capabilities was of significant importance because it manages the system data traffic, downlink video and audio, telemetry, and resulted in quality training for the Plan Train Fly (PTF) and Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC) users. This was a huge success and has shown that he has a willingness in learning and accepting new challenges in order to meet our MSOC schedule commitments. The delivery of these capabilities were recognized by NASA in achieving a major delivery milestone.
